Wings Home & Wings of Hope Hospice
Are you looking for a place to serve?  A place where you will make a difference?  We need you!  Both Wings Home and Wings of Hope Hospice are looking for volunteers.  Wings Home is a new home in Allegan County for hospice patients to live.  It is scheduled to open this fall and will hold up to four people.  We need people who will volunteer to take care of these individuals in their last weeks and months of life.  Wings of Hope Hospice uses volunteers for patient care, office, meal preparation, household chores, transportation, musicians, clerical, companionship and respite.  We also are always looking for volunteers that are licensed cosmetologist, barbers and massage therapists.  Please call and reserve your spot in our upcoming training for both of these opportunities. Diocesan Allegan County Fair Booth
The Office of Evangelization, Catechesis and Initiation will have a booth at the Allegan County Fair not to distribute information about diocesan or parish events, but to be a public, positive presence for Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church.  If you are going to the fair, plan a little extra time to share your faith with others at this booth.  We need volunteers.  Work for the Lord.  More later.

Tired? Come and be refreshed!
Please join us for Discovering Christ Tuesdays from 6:45 to 9:00pm from September 28 to November 9.  Discovering Christ will be held in the McGuire room at St. Margaret's Parish in Otsego.  Enjoy a free (!) dinner, listen to a dynamic teaching, and join in a small group discussion about the meaning of life.  Discovering Christ invites everyone to explore the deepest questions of life.... And to discover the answers to these questions in relationship with Jesus Christ.  Contact Deacon Kurt Lucas, klucas@dioceseofkalamazoo.org.

Autumn in the Country Dinner & Bazaar Update
***What's new?
"Mystery Saks" will be introduced this year.  They will be available for children and adults.  We will need a couple of bags of individually wrapped candy for the kid bags.  For the adults, we will be asking for donations of small handmade items, re-gifted items, interesting fun gifts.  Look around at bargain bins.  More later.
***Desserts - The past few years we have had an abundance of desserts left after the dinner.  This year there will be spaces to sign up on the food donation list for those of you who still wish to make items for the dinner.  We HOPE this will free you up to make items for the BAKE SHOP.  People greatly enjoy buying our home-made baked goods.
***We will be having a Baking Workshop the week before the dinner.  If you would like to polish up your skills, help out and have fun, plan to come.  Have a great rest of the summer.

Worldwide Marriage Encounter
"My sheep hear my voice" ... (Today's Gospel) Come away for a weekend to listen to God's voice and what He has to say about your Sacrament of Marriage.  The remaining 2010 Worldwide marriage Encounter Weekend is October 15-17 in Grand Rapids.  Make plans now to reserve your spot.  For more info, contact Bob & JeanAnn McCann at (616) 847-0582.

Tables & Chairs
Reminder: There are chairs and tables located in the church basement for parishioners to borrow for parties, garage sales and other events.  Please contact the parish office prior to removing them and when returning them.  It is also a good idea to contact the office ahead of time to reserve them, to make sure they will be available for your event.  The chairs and tables in the school hall are NOT to be removed for personal use.  Thank you.
